Simple rules for a fair service

4Your files and content

You retain full ownership of any files you upload or process. We do not claim any rights over your content.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to process any file you upload. Do not upload content that belongs to someone else without permission.

Files processed in-browser never leave your device. Files processed on our servers are handled in memory and deleted immediately after processing; we do not access, inspect, or store them.

5Intellectual property

The PDFKito name, logo, design, code, and all related content are the property of PDFKito and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

6Disclaimer of warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

7Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDFKito shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, which for a free service is zero.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party services. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those third parties.
